At Help Resale, we accept a wide range of products, accommodating both small and large items. Our inventory includes everything from electronics like laptops and smartphones to larger items.  However, there are some items we don’t accept. You can find these items here. 

 

                       

Q: How do I consign my items with Help Resale?

To get started, simply submit a query form on our website, and our team will review your submission. If accepted, you’ll receive a pre-filled shipping label to print and use for shipping, and we’ll work with you to accommodate any special shipping requirements. The shipping cost is fully covered. Once we receive your item, we’ll notify you and confirm the start of the consignment period. Our team will then inspect, process, and create a detailed listing for your item. After your item sells, you’ll receive a notification along with payment (minus the consignment fee) via your chosen payment method. This process ensures your items receive the best exposure and are sold quickly.

                     

Q: How is the selling price of my item determined?

 At Help Resale, our strategy incorporates several factors to ensure your item gets the best price including:

Q: What is the consignment period, and are there any markdowns?

At Help Resale, our goal is to maximize the value of your items while ensuring competitive pricing. Occasionally, we may markdown items based on their consignment duration or as part of scheduled promotions such as seasonal sales or clearance events. If you believe an adjustment to the price of your item is necessary, you can easily request a price change by contacting Help Resale and completing a price change form. 

                      

Q: How and when do I get paid after my item sells?

Once your item sells you will be paid out via your chosen payment method, the payment method can’t be changed after it has already been chosen. 

   

Q: Can I request the return of my item before the consignment period ends?

If you decide to retrieve your item, simply contact us to initiate the process. You'll need to fill out a return item form specifying whether you prefer the item shipped to your address or if you'll pick it up at our Help Resale location. 

 

Q: What are your inspection and quality standards for consigned items?

 We take the following steps to ensure all products meet our standards including comprehensive checks for:

  2. Packaging integrity
  3. Presence and condition of accompanying documentation such as:

Q: What is your Return Policy?

We have a 15 day return policy for all items sold on our website. Returned items must be in their original condition to be eligible for return. This helps us address any issues promptly and ensures that the return is handled in a timely and fair manner for both parties. Reversing or disputing charges may affect your ability to return items. To maintain accurate and efficient fulfillment, orders cannot be canceled once shipped.

If an item is suspected to be counterfeit or stolen, the consignor’s account may be deactivated, and the item returned at their expense, with potential reporting to local authorities. Q: How do I know if I need to complete a W-9 form?

For sales over $500.00, consignors must complete a W-9 form online to comply with tax requirements. Until the form is submitted, payment for the item may be temporarily withheld to ensure smooth financial transactions. This process ensures adherence to tax regulations and facilitates efficient handling of high-value sales on our platform.
