Our inventory includes everything from electronics like laptops and smartphones to larger items such as furniture and home décor. However, there are some items we don’t accept. How do I consign my items with Help! Resale?

  • If accepted:
  • You receive a pre-filled shipping label to print and use for shipping
  • We work with you for special shipping requirements
  • Shipping cost is covered
  • Upon receiving your item:
  • We notify you and confirm the start of the consignment period
  • Our team inspects, processes, and creates a detailed listing
  • Once your item sells:
  • You receive a notification and payment (minus the consignment fee) via your chosen payment method
  • The process ensures your items get the best exposure and a swift sale

What is the consignment period, and are there any markdowns?

 

At Help! Resale, our goal is to maximize the value of your items while ensuring competitive pricing. Occasionally, we may markdown items based on their consignment duration or as part of scheduled promotions such as seasonal sales or clearance events. If you believe an adjustment to the price of your item is necessary, you can easily request a price change by contacting Help! Resale and completing a price change form.

                      

How and when do I get paid after my item sells?

 

Once your item sells you will be paid out via your chosen payment method, the payment method can’t be changed after it has already been chosen. 

   

Can I request the return of my item before the consignment period ends?

   

If you decide to retrieve your item, simply contact us to initiate the process. You'll need to fill out a return item form specifying whether you prefer the item shipped to your address or if you'll pick it up at our Help! Resale location. 

 

Do you accept items that are shipped from outside the United States?

             

Yes! We accept items shipped from outside the United States. 

 

       

What are your inspection and quality standards for consigned items?

 

We take the following steps to ensure all products meet our standards including comprehensive checks for:

  2. Packaging integrity
  3. Presence and condition of accompanying documentation such as:

  •        Certificates of authenticity

How do you handle items that are found to be counterfeit or stolen?

At Help! Resale, we uphold a strict policy against accepting stolen or counterfeit items. If an item is suspected to be counterfeit or stolen, the consignor’s account may be deactivated, and the item returned at their expense, with potential reporting to local authorities. These measures ensure marketplace integrity and a trustworthy environment for all.

                       

How do you promote my items to ensure they sell?

At Help! Resale, we create SEO-optimized listings with high-quality photos and detailed descriptions, promoting items across various online platforms to attract buyers. We continuously monitor performance, using data and feedback to enhance exposure and maximize the chances of a successful sale.

 

                   

 What happens to unsold items?

If an item goes unsold, consignors have 30 days to arrange retrieval. We contact customers via provided contact information, making multiple attempts if needed. After 30 days without contact, one final attempt is made before considering the item abandoned. If abandoned, Help! Resale will dispose of it responsibly. Consignors are urged to stay proactive to ensure a smooth consignment process and timely retrieval of unsold items.

 

                       

How do I know if I need to complete a W-9 form?

For sales over $500.00, consignors must complete a W-9 form online to comply with tax requirements. Until the form is submitted, payment for the item may be temporarily withheld to ensure smooth financial transactions. This process ensures adherence to tax regulations and facilitates efficient handling of high-value sales on our platform.

What is your Return Policy?

All sales on Help! Resale are final, and we do not offer exchanges.
