The Time Mark A257B is a three phase voltage monitor designed to protect motors and electrical equipment from abnormal power conditions. It continuously monitors three phase power lines and detects problems such as phase loss, phase reversal, and low voltage. When the proper voltage and phase sequence are present, the internal relay energizes to allow the system to operate normally. If a fault condition occurs, the relay de-energizes to shut down or protect the connected equipment. The device typically operates on 480 VAC systems and uses an 8-pin socket with a SPDT relay contact rated at approximately 10 amps.
